The speakers were as follows: Mrs Zoltán Lucz and Dr Péter Csobánczy, Heads of the Income Tax and VAT Departments of the Ministry of Finance, Zsolt Kalocsai, CEO, Sándor Hegedüs, Head of the Tax Group, and Dr Bálint Szűcs, attorney-tax expert.

Parliament passed Bill No. T/581 on the Enactment and Amendment of certain Economic and Financial Laws on 22 July 2010. The Bill currently awaits forwarding to the President. The Bill amends the rules pertaining to the preferential 10 percent rate of corporate income tax with effect from 1 July 2010.
